Herein, we hope you’ll find the answers to
many of your basic questions, about us, what we do and how it
all works. If you still have questions, or you’d just rather,
send us an

We invite you to browse through our
website. We hope you enjoy the photos and learn something along
the way about your desired destination and species. When you
find an outfitter or two that pique your interest, make note of
their catalog code. Get in touch with us and we’ll mail or
email you more detailed information, as well as our most current
Adventure Guide. Call us at 888-OC-TROPHY (888-628-7674) or

“Contact Us”

email.
Even though there is plenty of information
on our website, the listed destinations represent a cross
section of Outdoor Connection’s more than 250 outfitters, with
more added each week. Our most popular hunting and fishing
destinations are included, as well as some of our more unique
offerings. Hopefully there is enough here to get you started
thinking about what you are really looking and hoping for, for
your adventure. Then we’ll work together with the complete
outfitter roster to find just the right outfitter to meet your
needs.
Most of our destinations offer guided
excursions, some semi-guided and the rest unguided. All
destinations are booked through an outfitter, lodge, guide,
charter, or captain. Hunts take place on private as well as
public property. The information on these pages is from the
outfitters, and is subject to change without notice.
Our outfitters are listed alphabetically by
catalog code as a way to keep them organized and retrievable.
The code consists of 2 or 3 letters and 1 or 2 numbers.
- The first 2 letters are the typical
abbreviation for the destination (except for Alaska which is
just A) in the US and Canada, with logical abbreviations for
other countries.
- AB: Alberta
WI: Wisconsin MX: Mexico A: Alaska
- The next 1 letter designates if it is a H
(hunting) or F (fishing) outfitter. Some outfitters will have 2
codes, because they offer both fishing and hunting adventures.
- The last 1 or 2 digit number is just a
way to identify the outfitter within their state/ province/
territory/ country. This is not a ranking, it is just a
number.
- ABH4: hunting outfitter in
Alberta identified by #4
MTH1: hunting outfitter in
Montana identified by #1 MTF2: fishing outfitter in
Montana identified by #2 is actually same outfitter as MTH1.
The green links on the right navigate through
more general information including hunting and fishing stories
from our clients, general pricing, getting tags/licenses,
passports, etc.
The yellow buttons at the top of the page
access the outfitter database.
They will take you directly to the destination, category or
species you are interested in.
Once in the outfitter database, you have Search choices.
Advanced Search: you will be able to search
on every conceivable combination of parameters: spring, black
bear hunting in Alberta; or fall, black bear hunting in Idaho;
saltwater fishing every where else in the world.
Search all:
is a text search;
works particularly well if you have a catalog code or know you
want to see all the Manitoba hunting outfitters (MBH). This is
very liberal search engine, so “moose” will return outfitters
who even just mention moose in their description – might have
better luck with the yellow buttons.
Image:
searches the database of
images; species and catalog code work best. Note: has to be at
least 4 letters, so for elk you need to specify Rocky Mountain
or Roosevelt.
More detailed information is available
on the outfitter page.
